Despite overall valuation levels remaining high, the recent pullback in global equity markets has presented several attractive investment opportunities. Similarly, while local markets have re-rated following the election of Cyril Ramaphosa, this has largely been restricted to the most liquid counters. We believe that many small- and mid-cap stocks remain very cheap, and that the domestic fixed income market continues to offer attractive opportunities.
