We offer medical aid plans (basic to comprehensive) to ensure your healthcare needs are met. Medical aid covers hospitalisation and medical costs if you get sick.

Hospital plans – Cover in-hospital care and certain prescribed minimum benefits. Out-of-hospital costs, such as doctor, optometrist, and dentist visits, are not included.

Savings plans – Combine a hospital plan with an annual rand amount you pay into a medical savings account. These funds can be used for out-of-hospital costs, and unused savings roll over to the next year.

Network plans – Offer lower premiums but require you to use medical practitioners from an approved network. Day-to-day benefits, like doctor visits and prescribed medication, are generally unlimited but basic.

Limited comprehensive plans – Provide broad medical aid cover, but benefits are capped at a specified amount.

Fully comprehensive plans – Give extensive cover for both hospitalisation and day-to-day medical expenses.

We are contracted with most open medical schemes, allowing you to select an option that suits your needs.

Gap cover helps you to cover the hospitalisation and medical costs that your medical aid does not cover when you make a claim. That means when medical practitioners charge more than medical aid rates, gap cover will make sure that you are not out-of-pocket.
