Although the last year has posed many challenges – lockdowns, isolation, getting to know the various online platforms to communicate – “you are on mute” seems to be the most used words of 2021, and it all seems like a vague memory.

This year has seen the introduction of the new POPIA regulations, noting the importance of protecting our personal information. Various specialist insurance providers have introduced and revised their cybercrime product offerings. We are now able to provide extended specialist offerings for our Commercial Portfolio clients, body corporates and homeowners associations.

PSG has also included an updated privacy agreement within our business, making sure that your personal information remains private.

For the first time this year, we also experienced political riots. Most clients were not sure what SASRIA cover entailed and what processes to follow if they needed to claim. SASRIA cover is noted on your personal and commercial insurance policy cover per section of inclusion. You are welcome to contact our offices directly if you wish to confirm any details of the cover.

In 2021, our footprint increased in the Garden Route area to include offices in Plettenberg Bay and Knysna. A big thank you to our Knysna and Plett clients for their support and taking on our Insure team.

We have also welcomed new team members and advisers that will continue our mission statement of professional advice, a specialist service offering, and respect within the PSG group.
