Introducing the PSG Bond Fund

PSG Asset Management launched the PSG Bond Fund in December 2024.

The PSG Bond Fund is an actively managed fixed income portfolio, where the investment objective is to offer a combination of a high level of income and the potential for capital growth by primarily investing in fixed income instruments.

The portfolio will invest its assets in interest-bearing securities. Investable securities include government, parastatal, municipal and corporate bonds, inflation-linked bonds, debentures, fixed deposits and money market instruments. The fund can also invest in South African collective investment schemes and use derivatives for efficient portfolio management purposes.

This fund is suitable for investors who:

• seek stable income and reasonable capital growth over the long term
• want to include bonds in their investment portfolio
• have an investment time horizon of longer than three years
• seek returns greater than those provided by money market funds and are comfortable with the higher risk of capital loss than in a money market fund
